Traditional Promoting

Traditional promoting is the fastest way to reach local residence around Auckland and build interest in the event that will be taking place in one of their community.

Flyers

A group of people from our team will set out to distribute flyers in different areas around Auckland and AUT every week along with some cake pops as a gift to encourage people to participate in the event. We will only be printing out a few amount to not contribute further in to building up waste in the community.

QR Codes

As we are only printing out a few flyers, QR codes are a great way to reduce waste. We can print out small codes and give passersby for them to scan instead.

Posters

Posters will also be printed in small amounts and plaster around campus and boards with their QR codes.

Cake Pops

Our team will be make our own cake pops to be distributed to save on some cost.

Social Media

Social media creates a platform where people can be easily reached and we can promote efficiently through it.

Facebook

This is one of the first and well-known platforms there is and can be seen used by many people ranging from young people to elders, which serves as a great place to start. We can post pictures and videos relating to our event and progress we have made, moreover, interact with people with comedic medias.

Instagram

Young adults and people who are interested in aesthetics use this platform to showcase their view and creativity as well as people who are trying to find inspiration or aspiring to have big followings such as influencers. Same as Facebook, we can post pictures and videos but we can also interact with our followers using the story feature and questionaires.

Youtube

Youtube is known as a platform where people can get creative with their minds and build it into video form to share with others who share the same interest. This platform can be used to upload behind the scenes of our planning and the result from our event.

Tiktok

This platform started gaining popularity in the midst of quarantine and can help reach more people in the region and other countries. The platform displays a 15-second video to users with attaching sounds, giving them a quick informative video to enjoys and learn.
